Picasso once said "It took me 4 years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child!

I believe that every child is a born artist. Give a toddler a pencil or a piece of chalk, the first thing they probably will do is go and draw or scribble on a wall!

Art encourages and teaches kids to see things from a different perspective, simplify everyday complex items into simpler things and see the bigger picture. Art influences children to solve problems and see the world around them in a new light

For kids between 8-14 I generally encourage them to draw as much as possible.  This course primarily focuses on from observation drawing, and will contain drawing a lot from Disney, Marvel and other animated characters. They will intermittently focus on drawing from photographs as well as direct observation.

Students with start with pencil drawing and then move on to charcoal sketching.

Over a period of time, they will learn about drawing in the right proportions, planning a drawing, correcting mistakes during a drawing as well as they will achieve an understanding of basic color theory.

We sometimes review the works of old masters and classical paintings.

All the materials needed to get started are included in the fees.
