Now, most artists advice that you should only be posting your best work online and not to post progress pictures. While I am not trying to dismiss or disrespect that, I believe that is only applicable if you want to see art as being a cut throat competition.

I perceive art as a joy and something that should be shared with as many people as possible. It has to be enjoyed and every step and stage. My efforts here are only to remove the misconception that a painting/drawing will look good right from the beginning or that, everyone produces their best work every single time, which when you think about as a beginner, can be quite crippling of a thought!
